Torre Loizaga celebrates the Centenary of the Rolls-Royce Phantom with a historic gathering

Torre Loizaga has been the stage for a truly exceptional event: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars chose our museum to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce Phantom, the marque’s most emblematic model and a universal symbol of elegance and prestige.

Our collection, which brings together all Phantom models from I to VI, was completed for this special occasion with a Phantom VII provided by Roger Fry, Chairman of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club of Spain, and several Phantom VIII supplied directly by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. This made it possible, for the first time at Torre Loizaga, to admire all eight generations of this legendary model together, in a scene that will remain part of the museum’s history.

The event took place shortly after our Phantom I Springfield was invited to take part in the prestigious Cartier Style et Luxe Concours d’Elegance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it was displayed alongside some of the world’s most remarkable Rolls-Royce motor cars.

Over two days, journalists from several countries and from both motoring and lifestyle publications had the opportunity to drive the Phantom VII and VIII through the landscapes of Galdames and to experience the unique atmosphere of Torre Loizaga — an experience that far exceeded their expectations.

We were also honoured to receive Emma Begley, Director of Global Communications at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, who joined us for the celebration and highlighted how special this setting is.

As Ruth Hilse, Head of Corporate Communications Central Western Europe at Rolls-Royce, stated: “Phantom is much more than a motor car. It is a cultural phenomenon, both reflecting and influencing the world around it. Since its earliest days, it has been one of the most desired symbols of success and a powerful emblem of power and prestige on the world stage.”

The highlight of the celebration came when the eight Phantoms stood side by side in front of the tower — an iconic image capturing a century of automotive history and the enduring spirit of Rolls-Royce.
