La que ha sido bautizada como \u00ab\u00a0la colecci\u00f3n del siglo\u00a0\u00bb albergaba en hangares un centenar de autom\u00f3viles en su mayor\u00eda oxidados que dorm\u00edan bajo pilas de papeles<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/FERRARI-LIBROS.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-426 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/FERRARI-LIBROS-300x194.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nEntre ellos se encontraban deportivos como un Ferrari 250 GT Spider que perteneci\u00f3 a Alain Delon y Jane Fonda, joyas de la edad de oro de la carrocer\u00eda francesa como un extravagante Talbot Lago de 1949 perteneciente al rey Farouk de Egipto y piezas hist\u00f3ricas como Delage, Delahaye, Voisin, Facel Vega, Porsche, Maseratti o Hispano-Suiza, de las cuales un total de 59 han sido subastadas por la casa francesa Artcurial durante la celebraci\u00f3n del Sal\u00f3n R\u00e9tromobile<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/CONFJUNTO.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-427 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/CONFJUNTO-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 historia esconden a su vez estos excepcionales veh\u00edculos? Un nombre: Roger Baillon, propietario de una imponente flota de camiones que junto a su hijo Jacques llegaron a acumular m\u00e1s de doscientos coches antiguos salv\u00e1ndolos de un m\u00e1s que probable destino como chatarra. Ante los reveses del negocio, en los a\u00f1os 70 y 80 subastaron m\u00e1s de un centenar de piezas de la colecci\u00f3n por orden judicial dejando el resto abandonadas en unas granjas que todo el mundo cre\u00eda vac\u00edas, ignorando los herederos el valor que un c\u00famulo de chapas donde anidaban los animales e invad\u00eda la naturaleza podr\u00eda alcanzar en el mercado<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/ob_03649c_chateau-gaillard.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-428 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/ob_03649c_chateau-gaillard-300x192.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nLa predilecci\u00f3n por las marcas francesas no impidi\u00f3 que padre e hijo adquiriesen uno de los 36 modelos de <strong>Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider<\/strong>, subastado por la exorbitante cantidad de m\u00e1s de 14 millones de euros, seguido de lejos por uno de los tres ejemplares existentes del modelo \u00a0<strong>Maserati A6G 2000 Gran Sport Berlinetta Frua<\/strong> que \u00ab\u00a0s\u00f3lo\u00a0\u00bb alcanz\u00f3 los dos millones. Les siguen dos <strong>Talbot Lago Saoutchick<\/strong> de 1949 carrozados por Saoutchick que superaron los dos millones<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_429\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/FERRARI.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-429\" class=\"wp-image-429 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/torreloizaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/FERRARI-300x161.jpg\" alt=\"Ferrari 250 GT Spider\" width=\"300\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-429\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ferrari 250 GT Spider<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Esta transmutaci\u00f3n del \u00f3xido en oro ha reportado a los herederos un total de 25,5 millones de euros que, sin embargo, ha sido menos de los esperado. El mal estado de estas reliquias\u00a0\u00a0prueba que estas piezas \u00fanicas no s\u00f3lo no se deval\u00faan sino que, una vez llevados a cabo los trabajos de restauraci\u00f3n, recobrar\u00e1n todo su valor y se har\u00e1n acreedores de trofeos en los Concursos de Elegancia.
