Tras superar con resoluci\u00f3n e imaginaci\u00f3n algunos problemas mec\u00e1nicos y repostando en el lugar habitual, la farmacia, llegar\u00eda a su destino en menos de 24 horas. Tal haza\u00f1a ha sido recordada este a\u00f1o con la inauguraci\u00f3n de una ruta que lleva su nombre y que recorre el mismo trayecto que la llev\u00f3 de la localidad de Mannheim a la de Pforzheim.<br \/>\nA estas alturas dar\u00e1n por hecho que el nombre de esta pionera era el de Mercedes.
