Por segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo y con una notable asistencia de aficionados, la ma\u00f1ana del s\u00e1bado 29 de septiembre tuvieron lugar en la sala\u00a0de los expositores del Sal\u00f3n High Motors<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0las conferencias de historias del motor dinamizadas por dos conferenciantes de post\u00edn. Al ingeniero Manuel Lage Marco<\/strong><\/a>, historiador del autom\u00f3vil con m\u00e1s de 10 t\u00edtulos publicados, tuvimos el placer de escuchar por primera vez en Terrassa a lo largo de unas Jornadas T\u00e9cnicas organizadas por la Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Veh\u00edculos Antiguos, FEVA<\/a>.\u00a0Al doctor\u00a0\u00a0Miguel Mart\u00edn Zurimendi<\/strong><\/a>, aficionado bilbaino y gran entusiasta de la historia del autom\u00f3vil, autor entre otros del libro\u00a0\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0De la Diligencia al Bizkaibus\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/a>, que recoge la exposici\u00f3n que tuvo lugar en Bilbao, tuvimos el placer de ceder una diligencia procedente de Torre Loizaga\u00a0para ilustrar tan interesante relato<\/p>\n

Arranc\u00f3 la conferencia D. Manuel Lage<\/strong> hablando sobre la \u201cHistoria de la industria del autom\u00f3vil en Espa\u00f1a. Una visi\u00f3n nueva\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> Este experto historiador nos llev\u00f3 de la mano ense\u00f1\u00e1ndonos los primeros balbuceos de lo que se puede considerar la arqueolog\u00eda del motor en Espa\u00f1a hasta la \u00e9poca actual, viajando a trav\u00e9s del tiempo en una cronolog\u00eda del desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico de la industria del motor en nuestro pa\u00eds, salpicado de m\u00faltiples rese\u00f1as tecnol\u00f3gicas. Lage nos explic\u00f3 la influencia de cada \u00e9poca econ\u00f3mica en el desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico del autom\u00f3vil. Esta imprescindible visi\u00f3n de lo que ha sido el autom\u00f3vil en nuestro pa\u00eds viene recogido en su libro, \u00ab\u00a0Atlas Ilustrado: El autom\u00f3vil en Espa\u00f1a\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/a> , una obra que recoge el estudio de las marcas con mayor presencia en nuestra historia, todas las f\u00e1bricas de veh\u00edculos industriales, camiones y autobuses, junto con los veh\u00edculos militares t\u00e1cticos, que aportan una faceta adicional para el estudio de esa creatividad espa\u00f1ola en el mundo de la automoci\u00f3n. Todo ello, ilustrado con sus correspondientes fotograf\u00edas adem\u00e1s de reproducciones de anuncios de \u00e9poca y otros documentos gr\u00e1ficos de gran valor testimonial<\/p>\n

A continuaci\u00f3n D. Miguel Mart\u00edn<\/strong> nos introdujo en lo que ocurri\u00f3 en nuestro territorio a lo largo de este siglo. Mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes locales, muchas de ellas in\u00e9ditas, vimos lo que supuso el inicio de la movilidad de nuestros antepasados a trav\u00e9s de la historia de nuestras carreteras y caminos. Los diferentes intentos de la industria vasca a fin de conseguir el montaje de un veh\u00edculo completo fueron pasadas en revista con detalle. As\u00ed el conferenciante nos mostr\u00f3 los retos establecidos en su d\u00eda por la industria naval con Euskalduna y La Naval a la cabeza a fin de construir \u00edntegramente veh\u00edculos en nuestro pa\u00eds: Ardiurme, Hueto, Donosti, Seida, Estancona, Goggomobil, Imosa, DKW, Auto Uni\u00f3n, etc.. son los nombres de los productos puestos en el mercado por las marcas vascas y que buscaron su hueco en la historia. Por \u00faltimo se apunt\u00f3 a los \u00faltimos intentos de nuestra industria y administraci\u00f3n, lideradas por Mercedes e Irizar, por definir el rol de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en lo que ser\u00e1 el sistema de movilidad sostenible del futuro<\/p>\n

Todos los asistentes quedaron muy sorprendidos por la cantidad de datos e historias que muchas veces desconocemos sobre los or\u00edgenes de la industria de la automoci\u00f3n en Espa\u00f1a, y en Euskadi, uno de los grandes proveedores de suministros del motor. Tras departir con el p\u00fablico asistente, ambos conferenciantes disfrutaron del buen tiempo y de una buena gastronom\u00eda en el jard\u00edn de Torre Loizaga<\/p>\n
