La particularidad de esta limusina de cuerpo granate y aletas y capota negras reside en que el chasis, americano, est\u00e1 carrozado por una antigua compa\u00f1\u00eda francesa fundada por Jean Baptiste Belvalette, en 1804. Montaron su primer bastidor en 1892 y en 1929 se hicieron con la clientela de la firma carrocera Rothschild. Desaparecieron en 1933 al no poder superar la crisis financiera de 1929<\/p>\n

A las caracter\u00edsticas propias de los modelos americanos se a\u00f1ade la de la nueva disposici\u00f3n de las cajas de herramientas o de la bater\u00eda, que en lugar de ir sobre el estribo se incorporan a la carrocer\u00eda. Desde el parabrisas abatible se ven los focos de posici\u00f3n, de cristal tallado, con el anagrama de Rolls-Royce. La bocina se halla en el volante y el encendido en el salpicadero. Tras la mampara de separaci\u00f3n, el habit\u00e1culo dispone de dos sof\u00e1s tapizados, con ribetes y maderas en las puertas<\/p>\n

Las innovaciones t\u00e9cnicas inclu\u00edan el aumento de la capacidad del motor a 7,5 litros, la caja de cuatro velocidades y la adopci\u00f3n de chasis robustos que alojaran las pesadas carrocer\u00edas del per\u00edodo. El cambio de posici\u00f3n de volante al lado izquierdo acarre\u00f3 muchos problemas t\u00e9cnicos por la complejidad de la maquinaria. Otras modificaciones o exigencias del mercado americano inclu\u00edan la posici\u00f3n central de la caja de cambios, una doble bobina de encendido y una nueva bater\u00eda de 6V. La introducci\u00f3n de un c\u00e1rter de aceite m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o vino motivada por la abundancia de estaciones de servicio existentes en EE.UU<\/p>\n
