C’est un geste merveilleux que de permettre visiter au public cette collection unique, qui laissera au visiteur une impression durable des ann\u00e9es d’or de l’automobile \u00e0 l’\u00e8re des empires\u00bb.<\/p>\n

La salle en pierre et en bois abrite les exemplaires les plus exclusifs et les plus anciens du mod\u00e8le Silver Ghost, \u00e0 l’origine appel\u00e9s \u00ab\u00a0Rolls-Royce 40\/50 HP\u00a0\u00bb, dont la pr\u00e9sentation \u00e0 l’Olympia de Londres en 1906 a fait sensation en raison de sa finesse et de sa fiabilit\u00e9. Le ch\u00e2ssis num\u00e9ro 13 donnerait le nom \u00e0 la s\u00e9rie et est entr\u00e9 dans l’histoire lors de sa r\u00e9ussite du test de fiabilit\u00e9 de Londres \u00e0 \u00c9dimbourg. Ce d\u00e9fi lui a valu \u00eatre nomm\u00e9e \u00ab la meilleure voiture au monde\u00bbpar la Pall Mall Gazette apr\u00e8s avoir parcouru 24.000 kilom\u00e8tres en 40 jours sans panne. Son bon comportement \u00e0 travers de territoires inhospitaliers a fait dire \u00e0 Lawrence d’Arabie que \u00ab dans le d\u00e9sert, une Rolls-Royce a plus de valeur qu’un rubis \u00ab\u00a0.
