De l\u00ednea redondeada y lujosamente acabado con bellos cromados, fino cuero y elevalunas, fue uno de los primeros modelos de capota dura sin pilares en las ventanas jam\u00e1s producidos. Diez a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde aparecer\u00eda la primera generaci\u00f3n de la diferenciada serie Cadillac de Ville. Los cambios inclu\u00edan la desaparici\u00f3n de la forma redondeada del parachoques delantero y la instalaci\u00f3n de una parrilla acoplada a la anchura del coche.<\/p>\n<p>Fundada hace m\u00e1s de 100 a\u00f1os en Detroit, esta marca encarna el coche de lujo por excelencia de los americanos. Pionera en el uso de la tecnolog\u00eda m\u00e1s avanzada, introdujo en la producci\u00f3n el primer motor de 8 cilindros en V y el primer cambio sincronizado.<\/p>\n<p>En 1965 se realizaron profundas transformaciones estructurales y se imprimi\u00f3 una nueva est\u00e9tica a la serie al suprimir las aletas traseras y reforzar la parte frontal. Entre los accesorios m\u00e1s demandados figuraba la llave de apertura sincronizada de las puertas. El modelo Eldorado \u2013el primer y \u00fanico modelo Cadillac de tracci\u00f3n delantera- har\u00eda su aparici\u00f3n en 1969.<\/p>\n<p>El impacto en las ventas de esta serie en el mercado americano contrasta con su escasa presencia en Europa.
