1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II S Coupe Continental #76MS

1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II S Coupe Continental #76MS

The Rolls-Royce company had shown since its inception a great interest in driving on the continent, hence Henry Royce designed a model to be driven by owners attracted by more sporty vehicles. The shorter chassis length, 144 inches as opposed to the usual 150, allowed for lighter bodies, which ensured safe driving at high speeds.

The Museum’s copy was given to its owner, J. P. C. Garret, from Sydney in 1932, with a two-door, four-seater Sportsman Coupé type bodywork by local bodybuilder Martin & King. It is one of the most admired by the fans, and has raised great expectations when it has been requested to participate in events such as Classic Auto Madrid or the Salon Rétromobile de Paris, at the stand of the “Concours d’Elégance de Biarritz 2020”
